I was hoping they would have done a better batmobile tho, the nascar batmobile is not leaving the shelf unless there is a custom that needs to be done. Im totally digging the line and with the DC heroes and villains, it just gets better. I just posted about a purchase my wife and I made for a kid's birthday tomorrow. And yes, my Batcave has an Imaginext dinosaur in it. I'm hoping it gets more life than the poor Super Friends line got.ĮDIT - Sorry for the double post. In short, I think this line is absolutely terrific. Superman can chase Penguin into Gorilla Jungle (ooh, I should make a B'wana Beast). Batman and Robin can investigate the Joker's new lair, my Imaginext Castle (a VERY nice piece that I got on clearance - one of the best toy purchases I've ever made).

The other nice thing is the diversity of playsets. The more streamlined heads on the police/fire line will lend themselves pretty well to customizing, I think. Various other figures from pirate/jungle sets serve as henchmen for Joker and Penguin. I've got several cops that I use as Gotham City police officers. I also think the new Beach Patrol, Police, etc.

I haven't thought too much beyond those two, but I'm sure other stuff will occur to me. I'm even considering customizing some characters - using other Imaginext properties, I can easily put together a Lex Luthor and a Shining Knight. My six-year-old daughter plays with them extensively, and would be thrilled to have a Wonder Woman or Batgirl for the line. Last edited by bnjmnrlyr on Tue 11:24 am, edited 1 time in total. I've created a checklist for all of the current Blind Bag assortments (and yes, it will be kept up to date). I'll even try to get my son up here to share some of his playtime adventures! Scale is not outrageously off (although the styles are radically different.)Ĭhime in, let us know how much fun everyone else is having with these toys. Please help maintain a consistent scale for easier crossover play between themes.Īnyone else out there got these yet? I have even set up the DCIH figures with the Batcave. Green Lanterns, Aquaman, Ace the Bat-Hound, villains galore and on and on, all with fun accessories and vehicles to boot.Īlso, the newest ImagiNext lines (Beach Patrol and Fire Station) seem to be in a slightly larger scale making it more difficult to interchange the accessories and vehicles. I/We would like to see several other Justice Leaguers thrown into the mix. I/We would love to see a Hall of Justice playset or a Fortress of Solitude. I would so love to see more, more, more become available in this format (although I do recognize that this model seems to hit big initially and then linger into obscurity. (I would love to see a Bat-Plane for the new GeoTrax airplane expansions!!!) Yesterday he sent Batman, Superman, and Penguin on safari with the ImagiNext animals line and the GeoTrax are only a few inches away at any given time as well. The scale and articulation are perfect for his 6 year old hands and imagination. He loves the Batcave playset and individual figures, of which we have them all. I have bought into these figures for my son since the SuperFriends line is for all intents and purposes DEAD. However, myself, and I am sure several others, have bought into this line either for ourselves or for our children.

First off let me state that in no way, shape, or form do I expect this discussion thread to be as robust as any other thread here.
